Manuel Cardenas is from Huelva, and during his life has always been linked and related to the world of tourism.

Originally started his work experience in the Camping Doñana, where while he gains experience, was forged with different courses and tourist specialization studies, among which are his degree in Tourism, School of Tourism Huelva.

Since early 2000, played Reception duties as Head of the prestigious Hotel Monte Conquero, located in the capital Huelva, what he did know in detail all the steps of his office, while jump right into the management of teams, and account management, among others.

During the following years, went through various departments of that establishment, becoming Head of Sales department, which training and experience came to encompass all the necessary parameters for your NEXT step, the address of a hotel.

Without much hope, since early 2006, our professional had the opportunity to dream, coming to take control of a central three-star establishment in Seville, where he remained for two long years, imposing his personal seal, and where the value and experience acquired necessary, in the direction of Hotels.

During that period, our protagonist, acquired the knowledge that he still had to complete their professional development, and following the journey of continuous success and expansion, decided to return to his homeland, where he won the challenge, starting a new establishment hotel on the coast of Huelva.

City hotels, corporate, and now since early 2008, Hotel beach, developing expertise in the leisure market, and which make it today, one of our professionals for more training and worth, in our province.

At present and after opening supra, Manuel Cardenas has changed of scenery, and serves as an external consultant, a clear commitment to quality and excellence of tourism services in our province.

Mr. Sunshine: Can you tell us what attracted you to this new professional project?.

Manuel: "What attracted me to this professional project was the challenge in itself that is a commitment to the improvement of tourism services in our province, and direct contact with industry professionals, we can move forward hand in hand, in a tough market competition, where only the commitment to quality will Huelva alternative tourist destination, among other markets from our competition. "

Mr. Sunshine: What have you learned from your customers during your years as Director of Hotel?.

Manuel: "I have learned from my customers on occasion how to do things, and in others as not doing them. Customers set the course of a service company, so I also have taught me to listen, to be flexible, respectful and ultimately to realize in my work, dedication to service, that any person who is didique this body and soul must have. "

Mr. Sunshine: a recipe against the global crisis we are experiencing?.

Manuel: "I think the crisis is at bottom a screen, a screen will pass only those differentiating factor without sacrificing their quality of service and management skills, may also wait for the markets tend to readjust and to normal, normality which incidentally have nothing to do with these last years of absolute and artificial boom, (years of the housing bubble). Mr. Sunshine: Finally, could you tell us what is your vision of tourism in our province?.

Manuel: "Huelva in general is an emerging destination, with all the attractions to establish itself as an important tourist destination, but there is a tendency to conformity, and that is dangerous in a global market hypersensitive to changes in demand. We can not lose the north, and think that everything is a matter of cheaper products and services, forgetting the vital importance of marketing and promotion constant, where is our real target market, avoiding clichés and outdated formulas, which only foster seasonality. We can not do the same thing and expecting different results, especially now in crisis, where we should strengthen our key selling points avoiding short-term policies, and promoting genuine social and political awareness of tourism generator.
